A.S., E.L., and C.M. appeal from respective orders detaining them for up to 14 days of involuntary treatment. A.S. and E.L. contend the petitions filed in their cases were defective and should have been dismissed because they were not co-signed by a physician. All three appellants argue that the social worker who testified at each of their probable cause hearings was not qualified to render an expert opinion...
