STATE DEPT. OF REVENUE v. ROBERTS

No. 97-1576.

705 So.2d 1069 (1998)

STATE of Florida, DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, and Jacque Craig, Appellants, v. Jeffrey C. ROBERTS, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

February 23, 1998.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Joseph R. Boyd and William H. Branch of Boyd, Lindsey, Williams & Branch, P.A., Tallahassee; Chriss Walker, Department of Revenue, Office of Child Support Enforcement, Tallahassee, for appellants.

No appearance by appellee.

PER CURIAM.

We find that the trial court abused its discretion by refusing to enforce payment of the child-support arrearages owed by the former husband. See Ashe v. Ashe, 509 So.2d 1146, 1148 (Fla. 1st DCA 1987); see also Livingston v. Livingston, 686 So.2d 664 (Fla. 1st DCA 1996). We, therefore, reverse and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
