Plaintiff, Louise Lee, brings this appeal of damages awarded in a personal injury suit. Lee argues that the damages are inadequate to compensate her for losses in an automobile accident.

At a jury trial on the merits, Ms. Lee testified that on January 21, 1992 she was driving southbound on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a car traveling at a high rate of speed, which did not stop after the accident...
