This medical malpractice action stems from injuries suffered by plaintiff Kim Patton when her stomach was punctured during a laparoscopic tubal ligation performed by defendant Dr. Wendy Amblo. After a fourday trial, a jury returned a verdict in favor of defendant. On appeal, plaintiff raises three issues: (l) the trial judge inappropriately charged the jury with the "exercise of judgment" instruction...
