The appellant, John Peeterse, III, was convicted of criminal trespass in the Houston County District Court. The district court sentenced him to 12 months hard labor and suspended that sentence. On September 23, 1997, the district court revoked the appellant's suspended sentence. The appellant filed a petition for a writ of certiorari in the Houston County Circuit Court.
