[¶ 1] Nancy McPherson appeals from the judgment of the Superior Court (Oxford County, Saufley, J.) denying her claims for negligence, assault and battery, and negligent infliction of emotional distress. These claims arise from her claim that her husband, Steven McPherson, infected her with a sexually transmitted disease he acquired through an extramarital affair.
