Appellee Eisler filed a workers' compensation claim alleging that he suffered from a work-related hearing loss from his employment with Amoco for over 23 years. The Texas Workers' Compensation Committee (TWCC) ordered appellant Texas General Indemnity Corporation (TGI) to pay Eisler nine weeks of impairment income benefits for his three percent impairment rating.
