CHAVEZ, Justice.

This is an appeal by the State from the dismissal of its case against Conrado De Leon for the misdemeanor offense of driving while intoxicated.1

On December 2, 1988, De Leon was charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated. The criminal docket sheet on record reflects that arraignment was waived on January 26, 1989, the case subsequently was transferred to Hidalgo County Court at Law...
