QUINN, Justice.

The Second Injury Fund of Texas (SIF) appeals from a judgment awarding George Garcia, Jr. (Garcia) a lump-sum recovery for benefits due him. Through five points of error, it contends that the trial court erred in 1) awarding benefits from the fund because Garcia suffered a general as opposed to specific injury, 2) entering judgment against the fund because Garcia was found not to be totally and permanently incapacitated, 3) disregarding the jury finding...
