Following a jury trial, the defendant, 14-year-old Anthony T. Robinson, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter (720 ILCS 5/9-3(a) (West 1996)) and criminal damage to property (720 ILCS 5/21-1 (West 1996)). He was sentenced to four years' imprisonment. On appeal, the defendant contends that the trial court erred when it (1) denied his motion to suppress his confession; and (2) denied his motion to transfer...
