This appeal arises out of a consolidated lawsuit filed by approximately 2995 individuals employed at Avondale Shipyards between 1938 and 1995. The lawsuits giving rise to this appeal were instituted on behalf of individuals who were exposed to asbestos while working at Avondale Shipyards. The Plaintiffs claim that as a result of their exposure they suffered asbestosis, cancer, or other health problems related to continuous exposure to asbestos. The Defendants...
