This case concerns the disposition of property and the custody of children on the divorce of Virginia Raffaelli and Stephen Anthony Raffaelli. Mr. and Ms. Raffaelli were married on December 31, 1976. On June 20, 1988, Ms. Raffaelli filed for divorce and subsequently moved to Alabama. On August 28, 1996, the trial court heard the divorce matter and thereafter wrote to counsel outlining the court's determinations regarding the division of property, as well...
