KNUDSON, J.:

Anthony Lawson appeals his bench trial conviction for aggravated robbery, K.S.A. 21-3427. Lawson raises two issues on appeal: (a) whether the pretrial identification procedure was unnecessarily suggestive and led to his misidentification as the robber; and (b) whether the district court misunderstood its discretion to commit him to the Larned State Security Hospital (LSSH) in lieu of imprisonment under K.S.A. 22-3430.
