This product liability action arises from a workplace accident in which a cleaning product manufactured by LPS Laboratories, Inc. was ignited by sparks from a welding torch, triggering a flash fire that severely burned Felix Martinez Diaz. Martinez' wife and two daughters brought suit, claiming primarily that the warnings contained in the safety instructions accompanying the product were inadequate.
