MILLER, Justice, (Retired).

Appellant Matthew Warren was charged by indictment with the offense of possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, in an amount of one gram or more but less than four grams, enhanced by two prior felony convictions. Warren pleaded not guilty before a jury, but at the conclusion of the guilt stage of the trial, the jury found him guilty as charged in the indictment. Warren had elected for the trial court to set punishment...
