We granted Defendant-Appellee AIG Hawaii Insurance Company Inc.'s (AIG) petition for writ of certiorari to review the decision of the Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) in Wilson v. AIG Hawaii Insurance Co. Inc., No. 20349 (App. Oct. 16, 1997). AIG argues that the ICA erred in vacating the district court's order and judgment granting AIG's motion for summary judgment.
