On May 29, 1996, a grand jury indicted defendant-appellant Robert Rowe on three counts of bankruptcy fraud under 18 U.S.C. § 152. Count I charged him with fraudulently concealing his interest in a home construction business known as Elegant Design, Inc. ("EDI").
