Henry Pettit appeals from his convictions for first degree assault under § 565.050, RSMo 1994, and armed criminal action under § 571.015, RSMo 1994.1 Mr. Pettit was sentenced to consecutive terms of ten years imprisonment for first degree assault and five years imprisonment for armed criminal action.
