Defendant, James Leroy Nara, appeals the judgment of conviction entered on a jury verdict finding him guilty of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. Defendant contends the trial court erred in permitting the prosecution to use evidence of an unrelated incident to corroborate, and thus render admissible, the child's hearsay statements. We agree and reverse, and we remand for further proceedings as necessary to determine...
