DUFRESNE, Judge.

The defendant, David Robinson, was charged by bill of information with simple robbery, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:65. Defendant proceeded to trial before a six-member jury and was unanimously found guilty as charged.

Defendant was subsequently adjudicated to be a third felony offender and sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. It is from this conviction and sentence that...
