Iris Dalferes appeals the award of permanent custody of her twelve-year-old daughter, Acelon, to Iris's sister, Lolita Dalferes. We affirm.

Beginning in April 1994, Iris's mother, Joyce Dalferes, filed a petition for custody of Acelon, asking that temporary custody be awarded to Lolita.
