Appellant Gary Bowles appeals his death sentence. We have jurisdiction. Art. V, § 3(b)(1), Fla. Const. We review and affirm appellant's first-degree murder conviction. We reverse appellant's death sentence and remand for a new sentencing proceeding because the trial court erred in allowing the State to introduce evidence of appellant's alleged hatred of homosexual men.
