BLATZ, Chief Justice.

In 1994, appellant Paul Arthur Wilson was convicted of premeditated first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. On direct appeal to this court, Wilson raised three issues: (1) erroneous admission of his post-arrest statements; (2) insufficient evidence of intent; and (3) juror misconduct.
