Appellant entered pleas of guilty to two indictments charging him with the offense of intoxication manslaughter, Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 49.08 (West 1994), each offense arising out of the same criminal episode. The trial court granted appellant's motion to consolidate the causes into one trial.
