Jaime Alvarez (1) requests that this panel overturn a prior panel's decision, which reversed the district court's order suppressing 300 pounds of cocaine that the Utah state police discovered in a truck that he was driving and (2) appeals the district court's decision to deny his motion to suppress a pair of incriminating statements that he subsequently made to state and federal law enforcement officers.
