PETERSON, Judge.

After respondent Rgnonti & Associates, Inc. (Rgnonti) discharged appellant Rebecca Bersch from employment, Bersch brought this action against Rgnonti and respondent Frederick Rgnonti, Rgnonti's president and sole shareholder. Bersch alleged a claim under the whistleblower statute and a defamation claim.
