Before De MUNIZ, P.J., and HASELTON and LINDER, JJ.

LINDER, J.

Plaintiff brought this tort action seeking to hold defendant liable for injuries that plaintiff sustained on the job. The sole issue on appeal is whether defendant is immune from tort liability under ORS 656.018(4) (1993) as a client of a worker leasing company. Under the parties' arguments, that issue turns chiefly on whether plaintiff was employed on a temporary or permanent basis.1
