Shelly and Fannie Weaks ("the Weaks") appeal from the judgment of the trial court entered against them in their action for negligence against their landlords, Ronald and Marie Rupp ("the Rupps"). The case was tried before the court without a jury. The Weaks alleged that the Rupps' negligent maintenance of their furnace caused them to suffer carbon monoxide poisoning.
