DAVIS, Chief Justice:

Mr. Salmons, defendant below/appellant, (hereinafter "Mr. Salmons"), appeals a final judgment by the Circuit Court of Kanawha County convicting him of and sentencing him for the crimes of kidnaping and aggravated robbery. Mr. Salmons was sentenced to thirty years confinement for the aggravated robbery conviction. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with mercy for the kidnaping conviction.
