The issue presented in this criminal appeal is whether under the totality of the circumstances an independent investigation by police, instigated by the receipt of an anonymous letter, provided sufficient corroboration of statements in the letter to establish probable cause to make a warrantless felony arrest. The police arrested appellant James Antino Walker without a warrant in February...
