Billups appeals his conviction for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon (OCGA § 16-11-131) and carrying a concealed weapon (OCGA § 16-11-126). He contends the court erred in allowing evidence of a similar transaction, in denying his request for a mistrial prompted by the prosecutor arguing facts not in evidence, and in allowing the prosecutor to misstate the burden of proof during closing argument by not sustaining Billups' objection...
