A jury found Larry Yarborough guilty of delivery of an illegal substance (cocaine). See TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 481.112(a) (Vernon 1992 & Supp.1999). The trial court assessed punishment at five years' confinement. On original appeal, Yarborough contended in a single point that the trial court erred in overruling his complaint that the State had excluded nine minorities from the jury solely...
