Daniel Tobias Crowell, Sr., left his College Park apartment at 9:30 p.m. on August 24, 1994, to return a rented videotape. He was shot to death in an Atlanta parking lot 90 minutes later. Appellant Richard Weems was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault in connection with Crowell's death, and appeals the judgment entered on the jury's verdicts.
