Plaintiff, Andrew S. Antrainer, was employed part-time as a stock clerk for the defendant, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A & P). On March 23, 1995, while in the restroom at work, plaintiff sustained severe cuts to the fingers on his right hand when the lavatory came loose from the wall.
