OPINION

YANEZ, Justice.

A jury found Leonel Gonzalez, Jr., guilty of possession of no more than five pounds of marihuana. TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 481.121(4) (Vernon Supp.1998). The trial court sentenced him to five years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, plus a $3000 fine. By three points of error, Gonzalez claims the court erred in denying his motion to suppress and in restricting his cross-examination...
