This case came before the Supreme Court on the appeal of the defendant, Deborah T. Murphy, from a final judgment of divorce entered in the Family Court. The Family Court master awarded the parties an absolute divorce based upon irreconcilable differences that had caused the irremediable breakdown of the marriage.
