The petitioner/plaintiff, Tasfa Wolde Wallace ("Wallace"), is an immigrant from Jamaica who first entered this country ten years ago. Just over two years ago, he pleaded guilty to a drug offense, on the basis of which he is automatically subject to deportation. Wallace now comes before this Court, seeking the opportunity to ask an Immigration Judge ("IJ") to take into consideration not just his one crime...
