JOHNSTONE, Justice.
At issue in this appeal is whether the Court of Appeals properly denied Appellants' writ of mandamus on grounds that Appellants had an adequate remedy on appeal. We conclude that because the trial court acted beyond its jurisdiction when it transferred the instant case on forum non conveniens grounds, the writ is an appropriate remedy.
