Defendant appeals as of right a sentence of fifteen to thirty years' imprisonment imposed after a jury found him guilty of solicitation of murder, M.C.L. § 750.157b; MSA 28.354(2), and after he pleaded guilty of being a fourth offense habitual offender, M.C.L. § 769.12; MSA 28.1084. We affirm.

In June 1995, defendant was confined to the Oakland County Jail awaiting trial on embezzlement charges...
