INTRODUCTION The State of Nebraska has appealed as excessively lenient the sentences imposed upon Calvin R. Silva for his convictions of attempted second degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony. We review this matter under our statutory authority found in Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-2322 (Reissue 1995) as to whether the sentences are excessively lenient.
