Plaintiff, Jeffrey Harvey, filed a workers' compensation claim against his former employer, defendant, BE & K Construction Company (BE & K), concerning an injury that occurred on March 23, 1994 while Harvey was working in Hopewell, Virginia. The hearing officer found that Louisiana had jurisdiction over the claim and that Harvey was entitled to past and future benefits, medical expenses, penalties and attorney fees.
