After a jury trial, defendant was convicted of possession of Schedule II drugs (cocaine) with intent to distribute, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(A). The court sentenced the defendant to serve five years imprisonment at hard labor. Defendant now appeals, urging six assignments of error. Because we find that the evidence presented by the state was insufficient to demonstrate defendant's constructive possession of the cocaine found in a residence occupied...
