This is an action to recover damages for an injury sustained by plaintiff Blaine Mullis on 18 October 1990. At the time of the accident, Blaine was sixteen years old and a junior at Garinger High School. On the day of the accident, Blaine's industrial arts or "shop" class was attending a student assembly.
