OPINION

MIRABAL, Justice.

A jury found appellant, Jermaine Charles Maten, guilty of capital murder. The State did not seek the death penalty. The trial court assessed punishment at confinement for life. We affirm.

In his first point of error, appellant asserts the trial court committed reversible error in impaneling only 11 jurors to hear his trial, because, under Texas law, 12 jurors constitute...
