Kenneth James Ewing was tried in a joint trial with his brother, Steven Ewing, for the murder of Lloyd Hicks.1 A jury found Kenneth James Ewing guilty of murder and assessed punishment at fifty years' confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, and a $10,000 fine.
