In these consolidated actions for judicial review of an arbitrator's $12,000 award in favor of the homeowners against the building contractor, and after the arbitrator denied the parties' joint request to amend the award for mathematical reasons, the homeowners sought to have the award confirmed and the contractor moved for modification of the award. La. R.S. 9:4209, 4211. The contractor's motion was filed more than three months after the award...
