BRIDGEWATER, Judge.

Antonio Perez-Cervantes appeals his conviction of murder in the second degree. The victim was stabbed, then he was treated at a hospital and released. Before his death, he used cocaine and did not seek medical attention for pain from his internal bleeding. He died seven days after being stabbed. His use of cocaine was a contributing factor. We hold that when the trial court prevented the defense from arguing that there could have been another cause...
