A jury convicted Paul Douglas Shiflett of malice murder, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and cruelty to animals.1 He appeals, contending that his trial counsel was ineffective. Because Shiflett has not established that his counsel's performance was deficient, we affirm.
