¶ 1. This eminent domain case arises from a jury decision of a Special Court of Eminent Domain in Tunica County1 finding that the landowners, members of the Bridgforth family, were entitled to just compensation of $267,919 from the Transportation Commission for some 4.32 acres of land taken for the widening of Goodman Road in DeSoto County. The Commission appeals the amount of the jury award as well...
