DAVIS, Chief Justice.

A jury convicted Michael Lee Bumguardner of the offense of murder and assessed punishment at twenty three years' confinement. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 19.02 (Vernon 1994).

In his first point of error, Bumguardner alleges that the evidence is factually insufficient to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that he did not shoot the victim in self-defense. The second point of error asserts that the court erred...
